To Play And Learn Guitar has never been easier before. You are fortunate enough to achieve this by having all the tools right at your finger tips so to speak. I congratulate you for taking this step by searching the internet to find the best information available to take you on your musical journey or to expand the knowledge you already have.

Guitar instruction is relatively easy to find but finding the right instruction that can put you light years ahead of everyone else is not that easy. My interest in wanting to Play And Learn Guitar came at a relatively late stage in my life compared to some that were literally born with an electric or acoustic guitar in there hands. I started at the age of 22 whilst backpacking around the world. I had always been a singer in my life but on my travels I found that I needed and instrument to accompany my voice. Not always easy to find in the middle of nowhere. I initially wanted to learn acoustic guitar but soon decided that I wanted to learn electric guitar as well. I now play both proficiently due to some excellent guitar tutorials I picked up online.

Is it easy to learn guitar?? Yes it is, especially if you really have the drive and motivation. In fact, you can learn to play guitar online in 30 days. How exciting is that!!!

Once you’ve started with the basic chords don’t be afraid to spice them up. In other words move a finger around at a time to hear how it sounds to you. Place it on a different string or fret or ‘hammer on’ or ‘pull off’ whilst strumming. This makes the exploration process incredible and you’ll soon discover how easy it is to be a creative wizz on the guitar.

Tip 1: Listen to different styles of music

If you listen to a variety of music it immediately opens other aspects of playing guitar with different techniques, rhythms, harmonies and much more. Don’t be 1 dimensional by following 1 or 2 styles of music.

 

Tip 2: Listen to different instruments

Listening to a variety of instruments will improve your articulation, patterns and phrasing.

 

Tip 3: Study with a teacher

Too many people start teaching themselves guitar and soon find they’ve reached a point blank. They need an extra push. A good teacher inspires and instills proper habits and along with good goal setting can make Play, Learn Guitar that much easier.

 

Tip 4: Practice scales as collections of notes

Ascending and descending a scale can be boring. Rather make melodies and riffs when you know where the notes are as this will motivate you to practice and definitely spice your guitar instruction up.

 

Tip 5: Work on rhythms

Rhythms create phrases and this makes it easier when playing with an ensemble.
